About Empoweriss

Empoweriss is a media and marketing company that began in retail and now additionally helps people create, launch, and market businesses by helping people identify, plan, and work to achieve their goals!

We do this by working with people to identify their core values, disposition traits, and interests. Then we help people analyze their schedule to identify times they can work on their business. From there we create an action plan that involves branding, marketing strategies, and analysis, all custom to the individual and their business needs! 

Empoweriss was created by Krissy Key. As a teenager, Krissy began modeling locally in Ohio and in Chicago for brands such as Dots, Landa Designs, among others. She acted in several indie films including Lives Divided (2009). As a young adult she took the knowledge she had gained from working closely with fashion designers, business owners, and marketing specialists as a model to create her own e-commerce store to sell original t-shirts, yoga pants, and other clothing she designed. In 2023, she earned her Masters in psychology and in 2024 she earned her Masters in early education. In 2024, she shifted the focus of Empoweriss to a media and marketing company. Now, Krissy would like to use her knowledge of marketing, e-commerce, digital technologies such as Adobe software, and psychology to help people create their dream businesses! A core value at Empoweriss is the realization that everyone deserves more opportunities to be entrepreneurs, and society as a whole benefits when people create new businesses rather than relying on large corporations that often ship jobs overseas and deliver low-quality products in return. We are especially passionate about ending modern day slavery. One way we do this is by transitioning our products to made in America and by encouraging other companies to do so as well. Empoweriss is focused on empowering local entrepreneurs to achieve their goals in connecting and providing for their communities! Krissy is passionate about writing, designing new products, and helping people. When not working, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
